Members of The Guild of Property Professionals from across the UK came together at Wokefield Park in Reading, Berkshire on Wednesday 4th July for its annual conference including celebrating the outstanding achievements of its 700 strong network. Its prestigious annual Awards were announced and presented at a sumptuous gala banquet presided over by Marcus Whewell, CEO of The Guild.
Charles Eden from Beckenham was for the second year running selected as the outstanding member for the South. The judges were particularly impressed by their commitment to outstanding marketing, their dedication to regular training and high standards, and delivering a truly outstanding service to all their clients.
The ceremony and dinner followed the Annual National Conference, where Guild members congregated for a day of senior presentations and seminars. These covered a wide spectrum of topics including; the economic outlook, professional brand identity, importance of good PR & media, marketing, referrals, lettings and the mortgage market. The theme of the Conference was Independence Day, or rather ‘Inter-dependence Day’, which celebrates the connectivity offered by Guild members - allowing them to offer the very best of local service supported by the latest marketing innovations and the highest standards of education and practice.
